In 2024 we carried out 3 big expeditions.

Our Norway summer 2024 expedition saw one of our previous service users (Who we trained and funded to go on his Mountain Leader and canoeing courses) return to lead the expedition. We took 12 service users walking over the beautiful Norwegian mountains for 3 days before canoeing down the fjords for 5 days all the time wild camping. Each day we were met by Sam and Miranda from the Breath Connection who taught breathing exercises/routines so they became an imbedded learnt coping mechanism to be used long after the expedition itself.

We hired the Johanna Lucretia (The only UK flagged topsail schooner in sail training) from the Island Trust for a week and took a group of 12 service users sailing and wild water swimming around Devon and Cornwall. All the service users gained their RYA Competent Crew qualification. Our Isle of Rum expedition saw us carry out an extensive recce for our June 2025 expedition there where we will hire the whole hostel for 18 service users.
