Ben Parkinson. MBE

We are a Police Charity but work with military veterans as we see the benefits that each group bring each other on our events and expeditions. We are delighted that Ben Parkinson MBE has accepted to be be our Military Ambassador. Ben is one of the most injured servicemen to return from Afghanistan. Ben suffered numerous physical injuries including losing both his legs above the knee. He defied his Doctors expectations by learning to walk and talk again. In 2013 Ben was awarded the MBE for services to Charities and made a Freeman of his home town, Doncaster. Ben has completed many physical challenges and events with the Curtis Palmer Program including hand biking, canoeing, surfing, climbing, tunnelling and completing the Commando Speed March in Spean Bridge Scotland, the Para 10s military race in Catterick and our 2023 Norway expedition. His infectious humour and can do attitude motivates and inspires our service users.
